The Week of Solidarity

At our schools we’ve organized the WEEK OF SOLIDARITY with students with special needs. The aim of this task was to give the students and teachers opportunity to see, to know and to feel how the process of learning and teaching  children with disabilities and learning difficulties is different.

It was an amazing experience for all of us.

The evaluation of the third project meeting in Turkey.
Results included in the project website (Blog).

Christmas cards

Each of the project partners will send 1-2 Christmas postcards to other countries before the Christmas holidays. (1-2 to each of the partners). These postcards will be made by the students of the school in collaboration with the families.

Preparing report about students with special need in their school and the legal regulation about the students. Make a written report that we will take to the next meeting in Bulgaria.

Make video calls (Skype) between students with special needs of each school of different countries.
“FRIENDSHIP-DAY”. (14TH OF FEBRUARY).
A level of the school will be chosen and a message of friendship will be prepared to exchange it with the other countries on February 14 at the time agreed by the members.

Questions about sen in our schools.
Afer the the third meeting in Turkey all the countries will think about 2-3 questions in order to do a questionnaire about students with special needs in our schools. These questions will be revised in the 4th meeting in Bulgaria.

The Turkish partner will help us on how we can use e-twinning within our project. Each partner should register on the e-twinning platform to participate in the e-twinning project created.

Teachers prepare lessons to present  different methods of working in the classroom. And then, in the meeting, discussion of the choice of the most effective methods.

Third meeting in Turkey 6th- 10th November

From 6th to 10th November third International Project meeting was held at Cengiz Evranos Ortaokulu , Balikesir in Turkey.
During this time we shared the results of our work.
We showed the films and presentations about “The week of solidarity” at our schools. The aims of this task was to realize how children with various disabilities pick up knowledge and how different is their process of learning. 
We also displayed the presentations about different methods of working with SEN students at our schools. We shared the experience, ideas and discussed the problems connected with teaching students with SEN.
Each country prepared the materials about national music and dances.
We visited the school for disable children in the city and the foundation where children with autism are taught.
The host country put a lot of effort to make the visit a successful one and a source of inspiration for our further work. During the visit we had an opportunity  to learn and enjoy the history and cultural values of Turkey.
It was also time for the evaluation of our work and planning succedent activities.
