First Meeting in Poland 21st - 25th November

Monday

On Sunday, November 20, Spanish and Bulgarian partners came to Poland. The first “sweet” welcome meeting was held in Wedel chocolate lounge.
The official welcome, that opened the project entitled Researching innovation in special needs, took place at Primary School No. 3 in Marki. The headmistress, accompanied by students wearing traditional outfits, greeted guests with bread and salt. Then they crossed to the gym, where all students, full of excitement, were waiting. When guests appeared, young learners played the xylophones. Polish coordinator, Renata Reterska introduced the members of Erasmus team. We all were admired, when we heard one of students who sang Imagine by John Lennon. The meeting ended with a traditional Polish dance Polonez.
After that there was a meeting in a school library, where all partners worked on the project. The logo was chosen. All representatives of each country gave the presentations on the education system  in Spain, Bulgaria and Poland.
That was the first day of the cooperative work within the project and we are all ready for more.

We exchanged small gifts and ate Polish cheesecake.

Wednesday was a very hard-working day. We learnt educational system in each country. We discussed about differences and similarities in teaching children with special educational needs. We showed the partners our classrooms  and lessons. They also had an opportunity to see how we work in our school with SEN students and they met our support teachers.

Thursday

On Thursday we saw bilingual show entitled “The Ugly Duckling” prepared by Polish teachers and students. The play was connected with the title of the project by underline that all obstacles the students meet shouldn’t deflate their self-confidence.

After the show all the guest and teachers were invited for the final dinner. We spent a great time tasting Polish food and singing Polish songs.
